Advocacy Initiatives
The Collective believes that industrial mining by multi-nationals is dangerous to the lives of people, the environment, economic human rights and workers' rights. In their work, they aim to defend the rights of Haitians by preventing multi-nationals and large companies from abusing Haitian and international law that is in place and mechanism of protection for the most vulnerable.

The Collective holds community sensitization campaigns, which include a series of brochures that provide information on past and current mining activities in Haiti and environmental and other consequences of mining (sample: Your Rights to Defend your Community, Reklame Dwa Ou), film screenings, radio spots, and training on water testing Regional Level The Collective holds manifestations, sit-ins and press conferences.
